Customers defaulted to single-bottle purchases because the product page didn’t guide them toward larger orders. Key issues included:
- Manual quantity selection hidden inside the CTA instead of Shopify bundle discount options.
- No Shopify bundle products or “best value” framing to encourage multi-bottle orders.
- Too many decisions at once, ignoring product bundling statistics and Hick’s Law.
- No narrative like “choose your supply” to prime users to stock up.

Solution
We redesigned the purchase flow using proven bundling strategies:
- Created a Shopify bundle builder app style layout: three pre-set one-time purchase options (1, 3, 5 bottles) plus subscription as a fourth choice.
- Applied Shopify volume pricing logic (1 bottle full price, 3 bottles discounted, 5 bottles best value).
- Added a clear bundle pricing example on each option, showing savings per bottle.
- Removed manual quantity from the CTA and replaced it with a dynamic Add-to-Cart button that displayed the chosen bundle.
Modeled placement after best Shopify bundle apps like Bundle Kit Shopify, Fast Bundle Shopify, and Wide Bundle Shopify to reinforce proven best practices.
This positioned the higher-value option as the obvious choice without overwhelming users.
Results
Industry product bundling statistics show bundle pricing can lift AOV by 20–50%. In this case, our client achieved:
- AOV increase of 27% from structured bundles and clear Shopify bundle discount messaging (only in the first 3 months)
- Significant growth in multi-bottle orders as shoppers adopted Shopify bundle products logic.
- Higher subscription uptake due to simplified containers.
