Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of your information when you use the Service and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you. We use your Personal Data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

  1. Who we are

Wavesy is operated by Uncharted LLC, (“Wavesy”, “we”, “us”). Uncharted LLC is responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

  1. Information we collect and why

Website analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our website, identify usability problems and improve its content and performance.

These tools may process pages visited, referral sources, interaction events, visit times, browser and device information, approximate location and cookie or similar online identifiers.

GA4 provides traffic and interaction reports. Google states that GA4 does not log or store IP addresses, although IP addresses are used during collection to derive information such as approximate location.

Clarity provides heatmaps and session replays showing interactions such as clicks, scrolling and navigation. Session replays reconstruct website interactions; they are not webcam or microphone recordings. We configure masking to conceal form inputs and other personal or sensitive content from recordings.

We use these tools to understand website behaviour, not to identify visitors by name or personalise advertising. However, removing names or masking content does not make all analytics data anonymous: online identifiers and session information may still qualify as personal data.

Our legal basis for optional analytics is your consent.

Information you choose to send us

If you contact us, we process the information you provide, such as your name, email address, company and message, to respond and handle your request. Depending on the request, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries or on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Essential website operations

Our hosting and security providers may process technical information, including IP addresses and server logs, to deliver the website and investigate security problems. Where this involves personal data, we rely on our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website. Any storage strictly necessary to remember your privacy choices is used for that purpose, separately from optional analytics.

  1. Cookies and your choices

You can accept or decline optional analytics through our cookie controls. We activate GA4 and Clarity only after you consent. Declining does not prevent you from using the website.

You can change your choice or withdraw consent at any time through Cookie settings. Withdrawal stops future optional analytics collection; it does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal. You may also ask us to delete personal data as explained below.

Strictly necessary storage, where used to operate the website or remember your choice, is separate from optional analytics. Our cookie information provides details of the cookies and similar technologies actually used, their providers and their durations.

  1. Who receives information

We disclose website analytics information to Google and Microsoft through GA4 and Clarity. Hosting, security and communications providers may also process information needed to operate the website and respond to enquiries. Access is limited to the purposes described in this policy and is subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.

Providers may also process information under their own privacy terms. Read the Google Privacy Policy and Microsoft Privacy Statement for details.

We may disclose information where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

  1. How long information is kept

We limit retention according to the type of information and the purpose for which it is used.

Where records must be retained to meet a legal obligation or handle a legal claim, we retain only what is needed for that purpose and for the applicable period.

  1. International processing

Google, Microsoft and other service providers may process information in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. Where applicable data protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we use the relevant lawful transfer mechanism.

You can contact team@wavesy.io for information about applicable safeguards and how to obtain a copy. Visiting this website does not, by itself, constitute consent to an international transfer.

  1. Your privacy rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or a portable copy. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

To make a request, email team@wavesy.io. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity or locate relevant data. We may not be able to connect analytics identifiers to your name or email address. We respond within the time limits required by applicable law.

You also have the right to complain to the relevant data protection authority, including, where applicable, the authority in your country of residence or work, or where an alleged infringement occurred.

  1. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data and limit access to those who need it. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

  1. Children and external websites

Our website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Other websites linked from ours have their own privacy practices. Review their policies when you visit them.

  1. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when our practices or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised version here and update its date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request new consent.
